I understand when I purchase an instrument for such a relatively low price that I won't receive the same degree of tone or durability or bells and whistles as I would from a more expensive product, but I think I should have the right to expect something better than garbage. The bottom string (the one strung 5 frets up) gave off a jarring buzzing sound, especially when fretted and the tuning pegs were loose. You could actually feel them turning backwards when tuning.
In exchange for the one star I have to give this product, I can say that if you were to strum it, it looks and sounds like a banjo enough that people would know that is what you are playing. Unfortunately, they would also know that you are playing a very crummy one.
