The Cremona Premier Student Viola Series offers a professional quality viola for any player including students as young as 8 years old. The easy playability and resonant tone of these violas will inspire the student to greater heights of achievement. No teacher or student would argue that introducing the viola early enough to the right student is crucial to the development of the proper playing technique, and to fully understand the instruments place in the modern orchestral setting.
The finish on these violas is a beautiful new translucent, warm brown finish. This complicated and thinly applied finish brings out the incredible grain patterns found in the tight-grained spruce and select maples used in these outfits.
Bows are made of the finest Brazilwood - perfectly octagonally shaped and well balanced-provides for a very resilient and responsive bow with better bounce and control. Each bow is also fitted with an ebony frog and genuine unbleached horsehair for years of playability.
The Travelite case is durable, light-weight and protects the instrument from the elements. Each case is made using special high-density foam with a wood re-enforced inner structure for added strength. The exterior is covered in a durable black, padded nylon denier and interior is lined in a beautiful forest green, with 2 bow holders and a built-in hygrometer.
